Ceramic Fibre textiles
Ceramic Fibre textiles is made from a heat resistant material and ceramic fibre. It is also called a free silica as it is a free of silica and asbestos. It is reinforced with stainless steel wire and can withstand high temperatures up to 1100°C continuous working temperature. The short-duration working temperature is 1650°C. The ceramic fibre makes is safer to use and is better for the individuals' health, as well as the environment.
Textile products can also contain reinforcement insert materials of Inconel wire or continuous fiberglass filament to increase handling strength during installation and to enhance fiber durability. Inconel reinforcement has a temperature rating of (1100 0C) and fiberglass reinforcement has a temperature rating of (650 0C).
