As an ISO certified company, we Janta Overseas manufacture a high quality Light Weight Insulating Refractory Bricks which are used in high temperature applications ranging from 1000 °C to 1700°C.
Depending on the application, these lightweight, porous bricks can be manufactured from a range of high purity refractory clays and other ceramic raw materials. The hydraulic single-press process or the extrusion method are employed for manufacturing. A properly graded organic filler is used in fire bricks, and it is burned off throughout production to provide a consistent and regulated pore structure.
When compared to other insulating refractories, Insulating Bricks offer the most economical insulation at temperatures above 1000°C, which is why they are typically utilized in these applications. When compared to ceramic fiber insulation, structural qualities of insulating bricks also provide superior abrasion resistance and chemical resistance in high-temperature application.
